At least once a month I carry out a broadcast on BBC Radio Merseyside to publicise and promote the natural world of Merseyside and Cheshire. This includes upcoming events, recent wildlife highlights, what to look out for in the coming weeks and there is usually a discussion topic. On the sample broadcast shown I was discussing the successful and soon to be concluded, Dot2Dot ladybird Project that I have been carrying out with 25 local schools on behalf of RECORD the Local Record Centre responsible for biological records in the Local Authority areas of Cheshire West, Cheshire East, Halton, Warrington and Wirral.

I am one of a team of 'Naturewatch Broadcasters' and one of us broadcasts each Saturday at 7.35am till approximately 7.45am on the Andy Ball Breakfast Show.

You can listen live online or on 95.8FM (locally).  You can also listen on the BBC Play Again service.

I hope you enjoy this sample broadcast © BBC 2012

Thanks for listening!

Jeff
